Description

"Another Winner From Tom Cotter" according to Steven H Johnston. I have all of Tom's previous books, both cars and motorcycles. It has me constantly looking for that next barn find, but I have to admit that some people are just more lucky than others. I have been looking for years, so this I guess is a way to live vicariously through the stories of others. This book gave me insight that I ended up checking out Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley, NC another place where the stories come to life, the museum is dedicated to the old an crusty as Tom describes in this b. in the Barn! Gotta Have it! Cotter has really tapped into a new movement with his .in the Barn series, and the motorcycle area seems to have taken on a life of its own. While I did enjoy the Vincent in the Barn a bit more, this book still has a series of stories that are gripping, adrenaline pumping and interesting. It's the kind of book that you can pick up, read for an hour, put down and read it for a couple of hours again when the mood strikes. Every car enthusiast and motorcycle buff should own this book.. R. Pettey said Moderately Interesting but Redundant. The book is a compilation of numerous cycle-search adventures. It seemed like I was ready the same story over again about every third story. It doesn't take too long before you can classify a search-and-secure as a 'ten year wait', a family dispute prolongs acquisition, or some other scenario. The first half pretty much provides the content. After that, its a redundant theme with a new title.

Hell, this is your life.. Author Tom Cotter is not only a barn-find master, he’s also master of discovering the collectors with the best stories and the most outlandish finds. If you can’t pass a padlocked garage without wondering if there’s a great old bike stashed inside, this is your book. Driving down a country road, a flash of chrome catches your eye as you pass an old farmstead. Yep, it’s a vintage Triumph Bonneville peering forlornly from beneath a tattered cover. Next time you roll by, you slow down and focus on a shed behind the house. Could that be? Good lord, it is! Hard on the brakes, quick reverse, and pull in the
