Clear and Concise first - I am not nor will I be an accountant. This book was very informative and opened my eyes to fraud and how it is perpetuated on a local government level. The same thing applies in business as well. Mr. Hall has done a wonderful job explaining things here to the professional as well as the lay person. Makes me open my eyes and want to know what my local government is doing not to mention the state and federal governments.. "A must read for anyone that manages public funds." according to Paul. A must read for anyone that manages public funds. The book highlights several real world case studies of fraud and abuse. This book describes various levels of controls, seperation of duties and the value of a Certified Fraud Examiner. I am going to have a CFE examine my financial systems for any weakness. I would rather look for weaknesses in the system now rather than pay for the fraud afterwards.Great book!. Christopher Arsenault said Clear and concise.
