"A big disappointment" according to Steve R. Clark. I have read most of Dent's books and enjoyed them. This is his weakest by far. I had high hopes, but was left vey disappointed.Dent made his name on demographics and his spending cycle, which are good tools for directionality but fail to match actual events. You would not believe the number of articles on how many of his predictions have gone completely bust.I like his writing style and his level of confidence. I also like all the data he provides. This book stretched a few pages by adding dozens of examples and anecdotes to make it book length. A rehash of the same cycles and demographics he has espoused for decades. BUT it is an easy read for any small investor who has not learned about waves, cycles, bubbles and bull/bear market patterns.
