This is the third in this series and, although the story is completely stand alone, to get the best from the main characters in terms of backstory and development, it is advised that you read the first two before starting this one. The Search Mary E aka Lockette This was a really great read by this author, the third of his that I've read so far and my favorite of the three. After the prologue, it started off a little slow but when the action picked up and my mind started working at the mystery as each suspect came under scrutiny, I was hooked to the book until I read who the killer really was. There actually are three stories going on in this book but the author did a good job of keeping them all straight for the reader. Each suspect could have possibly been the killer but when I found out, even though I had my suspicions, I was still a bit surprised at how it all came about. It w
