When Nate met Lily he knew he was no good for her but as virile, fierce, rugged, and ruthless as he was, Nate was no match for the pull of sweet, innocent Lily. Unfortunately, Lily's wish included that she and her hero go through trials and tribulations to test their love. The story was very good and kept me wholly engaged (to the point were I was dreaming about the story when I slept part way through reading the book).Lily is a sweet woman who's had a rough time in her life. Lily and her family live in a small town in Indiana and she was well loved and grew up happily (overall). She was born very gifted (especially in writing) but was rather on the plain side so she got teased mercilessly in high school. I really really want to like him but he sometimes behaves like he's bipolar. And all through that, Lily who must have the biggest of hearts still loves him.I was thinking while reading this book could be told in a parallel version without a genie.
