"Talky-Talky" according to Bookworm. This is the only Dorothy Gilman book that I have ever disliked. WAY too much description, and not the usual fun characters etc that we've come to expect of Miss Gilman. I have collected all of her novels but will be donating this to Goodwill.. Books on tape seakayaker I purchased this as it is a tape of a book written by Dorothy Gilman. Her series on Mrs. Polifax I love. I was hoping for something on that order. This is not. It is about a woman's journey and finding herself. If you are looking for something on that order. It is well written and I think you might like it.. Five Stars Love Gilman's depth of perception in her writing.
