I have never read a LitRPG before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was so lucky to have this book as my first introduction. It was good, really good. I liked the main characters (so important) and the story was inventive and interesting.James Hunter definitely knows how to write. I am always worried when I start reading a 'new to me' author. Sometimes the reviews are so glowing for some books and yet I find that the writing style just doesn't suit me. Not so with this author. He has an ea. .5 I would.
