Great ending to a great near future SF adventure James Tepper The third and final book in a masterful SF trilogy where the SF takes a backseat to character development, politics, non-stop action, a touch of romance, and edge-of-your-seat per-apocalyptic thriller. WRITTEN IN FIRE and its two predecessors, BRILLIANCE and A BETTER WORLD describe a believable near. Doctor Bob said Fine Conclusion to A Fine Trilogy. I've very much enjoyed all three books in this trilogy and regret that there will not be more anytime soon. I'm quite adept at spotting twists, but this author consistently manages to surprise me.
