Glimpse the emerald green Shoshone Falls in Idaho, turning aspens and grazing moose in the Grand Tetons, black bears roaming the Devil’s Tower region in Wyoming, glorious geysers, steamy hot springs, and imposing bison with their young in Yellowstone, the raging Bull River and otherworldly Glacier National Park in Montana, as well as lonely railways and isolated barns along “gray” roads, that is, the ones less traveled. Are you up for a road trip? Ride along the back roads of the vast Yellowstone region and enjoy stunning panoramic photographs that reveal the beauty of Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana and include Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park in all their glory. Embark on an expedition without GPS, visiting majestic wildlife and drinking in fantastic landscapes along the way. The appendix includes a complete list of camera equipment, exposure, and panorama statisticsenough to satisfy even the techiest of photographers.

F-F-F-F-A-A-A-A-BULOUS book! Sci-guy When I first thought about purchasing this book, I was a little hesitant. I bought Mr. Skernick's first book (which was an unqualified masterpiece), and it was both expensive and beautifully printed on high quality paper with high resolution photographs. So when I saw that this book would be published for around 30 dollars, I was pretty sure that the book could not possibly be as good as his first masterpiece. I WAS WRONG. Mr. Skernick is to be congratulated for hitting the ball out of the park yet again. . "More than Yellowstone" according to Brian Valente. this is a beautiful BEAUTIFUL book of images in and around Yellowstone. Most other Yellowstone books concentrate on just what's in the park - lots of wildlife, buffalos, geysers, etc.Yes, those are covered, but i also saw unique images from Yellowstone and surrounding areas that really reminded me of what it was like to visit the park and the communities around it.well done. I've always been a fan of David Skernick's works (Lost on Gray Roads now has to share my coffee table with Yellowstone Country) This is more than an coffee table book of photography, it is a piece of art. I literally drooled over every single photo - I mean, grizzlies playing together? Wolves standing majestically staring straight ahead, and so much more. I've always been a fan of David Skernick's works (Lost on Gray Roads now has to share my coffee table with Yellowstone Country) and he never fails to amaze. I can't wait to see more of his work in print.
